Wish List

Amazon calls it a wish list, which makes it seem so innocent but I find my wish list growing out of control. Unlike grocery shopping, I simply loathe regular shopping. The upside of this hatred is rarely spending money on my wants or wish list items. There is a downside. I usually end up with a mile long wish list before I even think about shopping. My current list? Not just via Amazon?

Tom's shoes, I love the Dickens ones. The Poe are cute, or Zola, or oh goodness! Someone just buy me every pair of literary Tom shoes! And while you're at it, get me these in all red!

Sixty-Six, by William Haskins. I'm embarrassed to say that my favorite living poet has a book out that I have not purchased. I hang my head in shame.

The Wicked Soundtrack and probably 1072 other tunes.

My Life in France, by Julia Child.

This food processor. In chrome. Oh yes, I know what I want.

The ice cream attachment for my Kitchen Aid stand mixer.

And this house but I'd settle for this one...

See? I'm out of control. Back to work!

I think it's good to have a list of what you want, even if it is a mile long. You never know when the opportunity will arise when you can get one of those things!

So many of our things have fallen apart since we've been here that I want lots and lots of stuff...

Yikes, Mel! You're going to have a gigantic wish list when you move back home.

Kreesh, are they comfy? Supportive?

It's funny cause I'm at a time in my life when I don't want much. I think this has to do with the fact that I don't have a house and I don't know where we will be living next year.

But I do really want to travel. My wish list is full of romantic cruises through the Greek Isles, climbing Machu Picchu, riding the Orient Express. Sigh... *looks in pocket for that lotto ticket*

They are pretty supportive, as far as canvas shoes go. I've worn mine whilst walking around all day and night, with no blisters or complaints. They have a nice cushion-y insole. They basically mold to your feet, I love it.

They are a little pricey but the thought of giving a poor child a pair of shoes sold em for me. I give them an A. :)

Of all those things, I think I'd like to have William Haskins book the most.

I'm not that big on clothes or household things. But I love books and music.
